 1980s footless tights still in the package! Three colors available while they last. Red, Coral Pink and Purple. The tights are opaque nylon with stretch lace at the ankle. I kept a pair of the red and noticed when I wore them that the lace has lost a bit of its elasticity. This did not detract though, they are still cute and very comfortable. They work great with todays tunic styles. One size which means from small to large but not to the extreme. The package reads 5' to 5'10" 100 to 160 lbs. Palest Pink boudoir gown circa 1940s. The
gown is done in silky rayon crepe de chine
combined with delicate creme lace and soft
shirred nylon organza. The waist is high
and comes to a peak just under the bust.
The bodice is gathered at the waist seam.
The bias skirt skims the body as it falls
to the floor with a swooping hem. There is

Misty Nude nylon boudoir gown from the 1950s
by Nan Flowers. Square cut neckline trimmed with scallop-ruched
organza and satin bow. The bodice is done
in accordion pleated organza and matching
French lace. The waist is trimmed in the
same manner as the neckline and has a self
fabric tie. The column skirt is gathered
at top. This gown is VERY sheer. I had to
photograph it with a slip underneath to see

Vanity Fair, the Cadillac of vintage lingerie! Pink creme nylon tricot nightie by Vanity Fair-circa 1950s. This nightie is the same as the one above in pink. The cut is flattering with a gathered bodice, fitted midriff and gathered skirt. The deep V neckline is trimmed in sheer organza and it has a frothy accordion pleated ruffle. The hem is also edged with the same accordion pleated trim. Just a little fact about ruffles and lace at the hem; The fabric used for lingerie is usually very light and can cling or have a mind of its own. Designers use lace and ruffles to help the garments drape and swing better. as well as for decorative purposes. Pretty as well as useful! Totally DIVINE nightie from the 1950s. The bodice is gathered nylon chiffon over silky nylon tricot in white. There is a lace trimmed yoke at the neckline with embroidered twin doves n' roses. It has a fitted midriff panel and gathered skirt. The hem of the skirt is beautifully detailed with swags of ruffled chiffon and lace being "held" by embroidered doves. These beautiful vintage nighties are so well made and have such lovely detail they can easily be worn for summer party dresses. Just put a 1/2 slip beneath to remove transparency and add substance. Powder blue nightie from the 1950s. Light
as a feather nylon tricot with sheer over-net
bodice. Delicate bows gather the netting
at the shoulder. There are satin embroidered
flowers n' bow beneath rhe netting on the
bodice. The cut is very flattering with a
fitted midriff panel and gathered skirt.
The skirt has a little ruffle of net at the
hem. These lovely vintage nighties have such
beautiful details and are so nicely made
you can wear them as dresses if you put a

Fabulous "Pin-up" 50s strapless bra. Black nylon lace over-wire bra underlined with pink mesh. During the late 1940s early 1950s a well "lifted and separated bustline" was essential to the look of the day. This bra certainly does the trick. It is the perfect foundation garment to wear with a vintage strapless or halter dress. It has a low decollete. The elasticized back is adjustable and has hook closures. The casings for the wire are black satin and there is a bit of boning between the breasts and on the sides so the bra will not slide down. These bras are surprisingly comfortable I have not come across a modern strapless that works as well and is comfortable too. The label reads By Lady Marlene style 950 Nylon Lace made in U.S.A.. The Ultimate Vintage Corset! They don't make'em any nicer than this girls! Stunning black corset with garters from the 1950s. This is a full strapless corset with boned panels all around, push up bra, zippered front closure and garters. The material is a combination of black stretch panels alternating with black lace panels which are underlined in sheer pink. Gals this is a SERIOUS garment whose foremost purpose is to tame the figure. It has nine channels with boning the full length. The front closes with a row of hooks and eyes then a metal zipper. The bra cups are underwired. Your figure will have no choice but to behave with THIS corset on. For all its strict structure though it should be comfortable because the boning has flex. Beautiful bias cut rayon slip from the 1940s.
The material is a lustrous black rayon crepe.
It has a sweetheart bodice which is trimmed
with black lace and black embroidered ribbon.
The gross grain straps are adjustable. The
hem is trimmed with lace as well. The cups
of the bodice are shirred slightly and the
body of the slip has a lovely form skimming
drape due to the bias cut of the material.
The maker is the famous Barbizon lingerie company. The label also reads Enthrall,
crepe remarque with an 18 1/2 size. the modern
size would be med/ large with a 42" bust. The length of the skirt from the shoulder

Virgin white boudoir gown circa 1940s. Please
excuse the photo. It is a sorry representation
of this piece. Especially the color. The
gown is a pure white in reality. It was made
from silky rayon crepe de chine detailed
with gathered tulle and lace around the neck
and waist. The bodice is gathered and the
skirt is long with a bit of fullness at the
hem. There was no label but the size appears
to be a 36 which is med/large. It should
fit between a modern size 8-10 due to the
flexibility of the bias cut. The length of
the gown from shoulder to hem is 57".
The perfect gift, I think, for that special

Girls, Tame that tummy! Now we all know that sit ups and salads are the wisest course of action but I think a little foundation help is perfectly OK too. Especially with the added fun of garters and stockings. Don't you think its just plain sexy to wear, beneath our often proper exteriors a bit of vintage spice? A very comfy girdle with garters from the 1950s. The stretch material is rayon satin shirred with elastic thread. The front tummy panel is nylon taffeta and it has a criss cross reinforcement area. The garters are removable and they attach at the bottom edge. The label does not name the manufacturer but the RN number is 15476. The size is 43/44 which will accommodate a hip size from 43" up to 46". The length from top to bottom is just under 16". This garment does not appear to have been worn. Excellent Condition $32.00

The best way to battle gravity is with a sturdy cotton bra. You of tender youth may not have been privy to this bit of wisdom but those of us women "of a certain age" are nodding their heads in agreement. Here we have an all cotton white bra by Warners from the late 50s or early 60s. Though it is a practical undergarment the pretty little details are there. All along the top edge are dainty scallops and the reinforcement stitches on the cup are done in fine satin thread. The cups are designed to lift and sharply define the bust line. Three sweet pastel bras from the later 1960s.
All are the same style and size. Quilted
embroidered cotton cups in the the typical
prominent push up shape from that era. Scalloped
lace edges and pretty applique detail at
the decollete. The straps are adjustable
cotton . Cotton backstrap with elasticized
hook closure. The pink and yellow were never
worn and the blue one was worn just minimally.
The RN number indicates these were made by
