Lovely maroon mesh gloves from the 1940s.
These gloves are created from a combination
of silky rayon tricot on the palm side and
soft rayon mesh upper. They are wrist length
with a stylish V opening. There is no label.
There is one little scratch on the material
on the underside of one finger. It is not
a hole and is hardly noticeable. The size
is flexible because the material stretches,
but I would put it in a generous medium range
around a 7 1/2. Very Good Condition $20.00

There MUST be a good story behind this unusual scarf by Escada. I am assuming it is a commemorative piece but I really do not know. Regardless, it is a fabulous bit of fun! The scarf features a cartoon like print in bright pinks, yellow and white with black accents. The wild images are celestial in nature and written in a graffiti like hand is the date 1991 along with Hello Angel. Although it may be whimsical the quality is superb. Done in the finest 100% silk crepe de chine it was made in Italy and has a rolled hem. This scarf measures approx. 34" by 34". Excellent Condition $80.00 |
